Strade Romane di Sicilia 2023

One year after cycling north I cycled south to Siciliy and back north ending in Paris, France. I covered a total distance of around 4.600km and we raised 2.000€ for Wonschstär an organisation that helps disabled people and people with diseases to realize their wishes.  In Sicily I stayed one week at a friends grandparents house and took a small break.

​The funds were raised for Ajla, a 18 year old young woman, who unfortunately, due to her disease can't talk or communicate. The raised money, was used to buy an occular camera, which tracks her eye motions. The camera is contected to a computer with a special program, which allows Ajla to select letters with the camera and the computer speaks the word out loud, similiar to Stephen Hawking's computer.
